  • With his characteristic “nerd’s-eye view”, Steve just published “Cyber Security for Seniors” to help his fellows in their online endeavors. He was inspired by his son Jeff whose senior customers number in the hundreds.

His previous books include even more boring tomes, such as “Real World Client/Server” and “Building Intranets with Lotus Notes and Domino” published over 20 years ago. When asked about these books, an unnamed technologist responded “Whew……..real snoozers.” He recalls his first book signing in an Orlando Florida’s Barnes & Noble: Steve enters the store. A free-standing sign has his enlarged photo and indicates “this way to the signing”. A semi-circle of chairs and a table with a stack of “Real World Client/Server” appears in the back. His nephew, a local student, arrives with his Computer Science professor. Then a woman who is clearly lost. Steve, with nerd’s-eye wisdom, opines: “Stephen King has book signings; Steven Krantz does not.” Mumble.
